A great big thank you to Donna Sawyer and Denise Shannon for making Sunday's Shawnee St. Pat's Parade a day to remember. When these two were referred to as the "Parade Powerhouses"...no kidding...they put together a great parade! It didn't even sprinkle until after the parade was over! Even Mother Nature was on our side!!

To Mike Shannon, Jim Finn, and Homer Brocker...great job at the line up, never an easy job! Shawn O'Brien...your judging table was wonderful. JJ MIller and Grandson...Thank you for a job well done introducing the entries.

To Damian and Shawn, our friends from Listowel...We welome your arrival, we drink to your friendship and we thank you for being you. Always a pleasure to have you involved in the Irish Club!

As my rookie year being the President of the Irish American Club of Shawnee, I have a special thanks for the former President Kevin Fern: THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU! You have taught me club traditions we will keep, you have introduced me to public speaking again and next year I will make you proud.... I might remember the flowers next time!
