WHO: Through the Law Enforcement Torch Run, law enforcement agencies raise money to benefit Special Olympics Kansas athletes and ask businesses, universities, and civic organizations to join them.

WHAT: Heroes Pull – A team (made of a group weighing 1,000 – 1,400 pounds) pulling a fire truck and TAC Bear vehicle. Teams pull both vehicles 25 feet and average their times and compete for Fastest Team, Slowest Team, and Best Costume. Heroes Pull is open to registered teams only and all participants are required to sign a waiver of liability before participating in the event.

WHEN: Sunday, March 11, 2012 – Registration from 11:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. - Pull begins after Shawnee St. Patrick’s Day parade finishes (approx. 2:00 p.m.). - End time should be around 4:30 p.m. depending upon number of teams registered.

WHERE: Splash Cove Parking Lot 5800 King Ave Shawnee, KS
